Precious Bright was born in South Georgia, but raised underneath the glowing lights of the Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York. It was here while attending the Harlem School of The Arts she was cast in Alvin Ailey’s production of The Harlem Nut Cracker. This experience ultimately led Precious to pursue and receive her Bachelor’s Degree in Film and Video from Georgia State University.

With an infectious jovial attitude and a smile as bright as her surname would suggest, it didn’t take Precious long to establish a solid career as a film actress sharing screen time with legends such as Denzel Washington, Don Cheadle, and Connie Britton. She has co-starred in hit productions such as Atlanta, Devious Maids, Shots Fired and the list goes on.

As talented as she is in front of the camera, she’s equally as talented behind it. After receiving her first break as a casting assistant for industry veteran Marty Cherrix, Precious has worked her way into becoming one of the most sought after Extras Casting Directors in Atlanta. Her list of credits includes the CW’s hit shows Vampire Diaries, Containment, Dynasty and Black Lightning.

When not performing or casting, you can catch Precious soaking in the sun at a beach and spending time with family and friends. With a soul as deep as the wells of her dimples, this free spirited, fun loving actress, mother, and casting director, knows that nothing is more important than living each day to the fullest.
